Employment and Self-Employment Opportunities

The second phase of the successful Support to Youth Entrepreneurship and Financial Inclusion project (SYEFI II) was launched to provide comprehensive financial and non-financial support to 57,785 youth in Yemen, placing them into employment and self-employment opportunities.

The project is a strategic collaboration between Silatech, the European Union, the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND), and Al-Amal Microfinance Bank. This ambitious initiative empowers young individuals to launch or sustain income-generating enterprises, fostering economic growth and stability in the region. Many participants have successfully established or expanded their businesses, demonstrating the initiative's effectiveness in promoting economic opportunities.

Additionally, these young entrepreneurs have been able to employ other youth, contributing to job creation and broader economic empowerment.
