About EAA

Opening up a world of education

Children love to learn. If they are denied access to knowledge, we also deny them the opportunity to change their lives for the better.

Around 1.3 billion children and youth around the world are affected by school and university closures due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Before the pandemic, 11-year-old Nasiele dreamt of becoming a teacher. EAC partnership education solutions will allow children like Nasiele to continue to move towards their dream, and a brighter future.

As soon as schools closed in Zambia, EAC heard from its partner ZOCS.  With EAC support, the Zambia Open Community Schools will reach 175,000 OOSC. One of the planned activities on this project was a school feeding programme.  Rather than the children going hungry and the food going to waste, ZOCS and EAC agreed that the food be delivered safely to their homes.
