Second International Conference on Safe Schools
The Second International Conference on Safe Schools hosted by the Government of Argentina took place from 28 to 29 March 2017 in Buenos Aires. EAA-PEIC were represented by Peter Klanduch, Director of Legal Advocacy, at the Argentina Conference where France, Canada, Armenia, Belgium and Malta endorsed the Safe Schools Declaration The conference reviewed states’ efforts to protect education from attack, taking stock of the implementation of the Safe Schools Declaration and using the Guidelines for Protecting Schools and Universities from Military Use.
