Opening up a world of education

Children love to learn. If they are denied access to knowledge, we also deny them the opportunity to change their lives for the better.

EAA Statement on the Kidnapping of Students in North-West Nigeria

Calendar icon
The Education Above All (EAA) Foundation strongly condemns an appalling attack on the Federal Government College in Kebbi State, north-west Nigeria on Thursday and the kidnapping of more than 80 students.

This is part of a recurring pattern of kidnappings in the region that requires specific action. We call for the immediate release and return of the students to their families, communities and school. EAA furthers calls on the international community to prioritise the protection of education and ensure that necessary precautions are in place to prevent similar attacks from happening in the future.
