EAA Foundation and Mentor Arabia Announce Gala Dinner 2025

Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, a global development and education foundation, in collaboration with Mentor Arabia Foundation, officially announced the highly anticipated Mentor Arabia Gala Dinner 2025 during a press conference held today at Fairmont Doha. The Gala Dinner, scheduled for February 18, 2025, is set to bring together global leaders, sponsors, and changemakers to support youth empowerment and sustainable development.  

Under the esteemed patronage of H.H. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Education Above All Foundation, the event will also be graced by the presence of H.M. Queen Silvia of Sweden, President of Mentor International, and H.R.H. Prince Turki Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of Mentor Arabia. This prestigious event aims to highlight the critical role of youth in building sustainable and healthy communities while raising funds for impactful projects.

During the press conference, key speakers, including Ms. Thuraya Ismail, CEO of Mentor Arabia, Mr Abdulla al Abdulla - Executive Director of ROTA programme at EAA, and key sponsors, such as, Katara Hospitality, Qatar Airways, Doha Bank, Lulu Group, Place Vendôme, Vodafone Qatar, Chopard, Al Abdulghani Motors, Marriott Worldwide Business Councils Qatar, and Snoonu, shared exclusive insights into the events’ objectives and significance of the Gala Dinner. Attendees also received a preview of high-profile guests, auction items and participating celebrities, ensuring excitement and anticipation for the upcoming event. 

Proceeds from the Gala Dinner will benefit thousands of youths in Qatar and Lebanon through the Youth Empowerment and Employment for Development (YEED) project, a joint initiative between EAA and Mentor Arabia. The project underscores the shared commitment to equipping youth with the skills and opportunities to build sustainable futures.

This initiative reflects EAA and Mentor Arabia’s dedication to addressing regional challenges through holistic solutions, fostering sustainable growth and opportunities for Arab youth.

Abdulla Al Abdulla, Executive Director of the ROTA Programme, said: “The YEED project exemplifies the transformative power of education and collaboration. By equipping youth in Qatar and Lebanon with critical skills and pathways to employment, we are not just changing individual lives- we are empowering a generation, too. Create sustainable, thriving communities. By fostering education-to-employment pathways and supporting green skills development, we aim to provide meaningful employment opportunities that contribute to a brighter, more sustainable future for the region.”
