The Beirut Port blasts, the largest explosion in Lebanon’s history, precipitated widespread damage of public and private academic infrastructure, adversely affecting education access for over 85,000 children and youth across Beirut. In response to the catastrophe, EAC and UNESCO implemented a joint project for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of education institutions affected by the Beirut port explosion.
